Depending on the method of implementation of the test items, defectoscopes (Descrydefect) are divided into:
- Acoustic defectoscopes (Descrydefect)
- Magnetic Particle defectoscopes (Descrydefect) - for the detection of defects on the surface of controlled products applied magnetic powder. After magnetization parts powder particles are connected in a chain, and they accumulate over the defect under the influence of the resultant force.
- Eddy current defectoscopes (Descrydefect) stimulate research in the area of the eddy currents and calculates the change of the electromagnetic field, which are caused by a defect and the properties of the product.
- Ferroprobe defectoscopes (Descrydefect). They are used to detect defects in cast parts, metal and welded joints. This defectoscope (Descrydefect) is able to identify the defect to a depth of 0.1 mm and a width of a few micrometers.
- Thermoelectric defectoscopes (Descrydefect) used to determine the grade of material, which consists of the product.

Industrial Engineering defectoscope:
Descrydefect ND 250a can monitor the long cylindrical parts (shafts, pipe, etc.) with automatic movement of the ultrasound transducer (probe) while rotating partsand flat slab according to the programmed algorithm.
